okgal84, there shouldn't be any downtime. The only 'problem' will be while the server information is being changed some people will still be pointed to this old server while others will have the updated information and will be looking at the new server. That is why Zen-san will put up a red banner to let people know they are on the old server and posts won't be permanent. But at the most this shouldn't last more than a day.

If you have a burst of inspiration and would like to do something, please post your images here. That may be best. Then we can talk about how the design should be updated. Also we have to work within the restrictions of this PHP Fusion setup.

Thankies, Clay! By the way, I think you should be Clay #1; you are older than me, and you are the great author of this website!

I'll try to come up with something interesting. I don't have photoshop - only some photoshop-like rip-off called Ultimate Paint(Actually I wouldn't call it a Photoshop rip-off. It doesn't even have layers!!! It does however have awesome effects.)

I put a link to my little blogbyblob in my signature. It's an example of some of my graphics (title and background). It is related to Japanese, in which I will be posting in Japanese (English too, don't want to alienate all of my non-Japanese speaking friends) and writing down vocab that I find interesting.

It's best viewed with Firefox (or related software), because I put a transparency into much of everything.
