How about the Czech Republic. The USA is funny. Actually the most surprising thing was Trinidad & Tobago's tie with Sweden. Hislop was amazing. Well anyway Korea and Brasil's first matches are tomorrow. I hope Korea wins.

RE: World Cup 2006
well, im not really a fan... but its still interesting to see how its going on... ok sometimes it is annoying, while ppl are mad on other nations and hits/beats others... (not nice) on other hand it is very funny which idea some fans have, like there were britain fans which had costumated themself in british knights, they called themself; the cross knights from the island.
Those are the nicer of the Brits. The "hooligans" insult the nation they play aganist...(I mean no offence) Germany takes the bulk of the shots with WW2 references and what not. Please know we aren't all like that, just the bad ones. A good friend of mine is German...though we are hardly talking at the moment...wonder why...

England won't have an easy time this year.. i expect them to make the 2nd round but not much further.. the good teams this year are awesomely good. the mediocre ones are stunningly mediocre and the terrible ones (yes I see my US team here, are doing a great job making the mediocre and good teams look better).. lol:o:o:D

I personally am not interested in things like that, but I have friends who are. All I know is that America lost to Ghana

THAT'S football for you. Beer and football go together like...st george's cross?? (+)
Poor Japan...as a keeper myself, I feel so bad for Kawaguchi. He was Japan's best player and kept them alive for as long as he could. Nakata and Nakamura just didn't do it, Kawaguchi gave them a chance aganist Croatia...couldn't pull through. Aganist Australia his defence left him stranded and Brazil was just too much(21 shots in one match is quite the job)
Hats off to you Kawaguchi:D

Today's thriller: Germany-Sweden
it's going to be great i tells ya
Brazil hasn't really lived up to
the hype around it IMO. Ok, they've
won all their games but something
just isn't there yet, their game looks
really forced, no fun 'n carnival
football like it's at it best. Let's hope
they wake up and bring samba to the
field.

Korea is out. They lost to the Swiss and the French won which knocked Korea out.
The Dutch should beat Portugal...but not the English;)

As an English fan, I'm sure you're aware that you should start preparing for the heartbreak.

Well its gonna be an exciting finale. Even know Im still anxious for tonite's match against portugal!
BTW, Im so bummed that South Korea lost, they weakened at the moment they needed to be the strongest. It´s unlucky.
