spammers had hit the guestbook and used up all the database space. i've disabled the guestbook feature until i can make a workaround or something.

forums and stuff should be back to working now.

the guestbook was probably always there, it's just not linked from the main site as far as i can tell. spammers go through google looking for sites running a particular kind of software (PHP-Fusion in this case) and then run canned scripts to post spam. so they were dumping spam into a guestbook that nobody ever sees...

Well at least it wasn't me what killed it. I got quite paranoid when the thread I posted didn't turn up. ;-)

Me too! I'm glad there was actually a reson for it and not just my computer being really wierd.
