Well, I guess I am probably going to sound like a complete idiot, but I will give my questions a shot:
1.) How do you know if something is the subject or topic of a sentence? (for wa and ga)
2.) Is there really any difference between wa and ga?

Personally I think Ga would win cause Wa is too much of a cry baby
