well the first is correct.. sono neko (ha) kimi no? = is that cat yours? so the hearing imparied was incorrect.

So far I have seen: Spirited Away, Nausicaa, Castle in the sky, Howl's moving castle and Kiki's delivery Service. Has anyone seen 'The Castle of Cagliostro'?

That depends. If you've ever translated something with dialogue, you'll see how you sometimes have to transalte the meaning of the conversation instead of the literal meaning of the words. Right?

And sereame: You know that "Howl" is based on a novel right? (Just checking because of your "orginal stories" comment.) While Miyazaki DID make some changes in the story, the basics are from a novel of the same name by Dianne Wynne Jones. I'm assuming you knwo this, though... being the fan that you are. ^_^

I even wrote a fanfic to Spirited Away hehe, obviously not to the same standards as Miyazaki.
