Seriously it's anyone's guess. For example you could say that it was a symbol of greed - how unchecked it swallows up everything yet restrained it fuels productive enterprise.

It's a good movie, I've seen it quite a few times in English and Japanese. I think it's better in Japanese though.

I loved this movie. Especially the non-western spirit folk atmosphere.
It should creep people out a little. Even our folk tales were a bit creepy, rumplestiltskin and hansel and gretel always creeped me out a bit. Poor hansel and gretel abandoned in the forest because their parents didn't want them. Then someone tries to shove them in an oven. Not the best of days.

i like this movie also, havent seen it in japanese yet, on the very long list of things i want to get. tony, lol you seem to have the perfect smily for anything.
