Nice to see other musicians here. I like your guitar work. Very nice.
Here's my band:

Also, I'm Greg, and I do vocals and a bit of the music. Should anyone check it out, hope you enjoy, and feel free to message me with any comments or questions... I love to hear feedback.

Great stuff Greg, I love the tunes, and I added you and your band as well.
As for KINGZ-san, there's nothing wrong with self promotion.

I just don’t like seeing advertisings, I don't shout out my 3D design company or its web address. Something about this line just got under my skin "Promote your music through your friends here on thejapanesepage.com!" But to each their own. don’t mine me.

I don't really mind, as long as your not a one-day fly here at TJP. As in you posted just 9 posts. Thats all I mind.
Good luck with studying everybody and I hope one day I will be able to pick it back up.
Until then, a nice goodbye from me to you

RE: In a band?
Personally, I got here and saw the thread and thought I'd add on my band. I do plan on sticking around here though... seems like a nice place.
I've seen worse, and honestly, I don't expect to get a fanbase by one thread in a forum for learning japanese. If anything, threads like these just end up being musicians promoting to other musicians, because no one else cares :p
It's nice knowing who's a musician in here though. Something else to relate to.

I just figured it'd be nice to share interests/music with others.
I like to hear other's music, and I like feedback on my own.
Sorry if I offended you.

As noted in my signature, I'm in a Japanese DM band called Bereaved. We have two shows coming up in Tokyo the next couple of weeks. If anyone in Japan would like to come, you're invited. Bring ear plugs.

Nah, I'm not in a band. We really don't have any good bands were I live. They are in Memphis & Alabama. Oh well, too bad for me.

I used to be in a group with 7 members. 2 of them couldn't come up with any lyrics, or sing for that matter. 1 moved, antoher 2 quit.
Since there was only 2 people we just spilt up..

I'm in a band. There's 4 of us, we've been playin, or "practicing", for about a year now, though of that about 20-hours of actual rehersals. But, that to the side, we've already got our own song created, but without any musical structure, yet, and we have a manager, and gig planned for September. B), it rocks to be musically talented eh?
What instruments do you all play? Me, I'm the drummer. yay, let's hit things!!

If I were in a band, I'd want to be the drummer or lead guitar also!

RE: In a band?
Well, our show on Saturday went pretty well. This was our first show in a year as we've spent most of our free time working on the CD. I was worried because we were playing new material and I had only practiced the songs we'd picked out for the set the week before and when we met at the live house, we found out we had extra time so we added another (new) song. Sound check did not go very well and I had a hard time hearing. Japanese live houses tend to have small stages and we're a five piece, so I was near the back of the stage by the drums (no monitors for me). For some reason, however, when we actually went on stage I could hear much better. We played well and got a good reaction from the crowd. I can't wait to play next weekend.
