Hey, I read through about half of the stuff on that page, and I actually had a lucid dream last night. It was pretty cool, actually...

Good luck with studying everybody and I hope one day I will be able to pick it back up.

Until then, a nice goodbye from me to you ;)

I've had 2 lucid dreams ever which I remember, one of which I was more in control of, but I haven't ever felt completely in control of what I dream. Usually I know I'm dreaming but I can only watch detachedly what happens, and if I don't like the dream I just blink my eyes untill I wake up. I find this kind of stuff interesting though. :]

Are you talking about me? I don't think I'm gifted, although I am a little intelligent. But the site said that anyone who read through some of the materials might have a lucid dream that night because that person would have thought about it a lot, and people dream about what they are thinking about, so I doubt I'm 'gifted' lol.

Whoa, you mean there's actually a name for it? I dunno if you guys'll believe me, but I can already do this. I never thought of it as a gift though or anything. I just thought it was just another way of sleeping, guess I was wrong. BTW, my I.Q's 133. Is that gifted? I know it's smart, but I don't know if it's "gifted".

133 is AFAIK about 20 points above average. But I doubt it's relevant to LD-ing.

IQ is irrelevant - whether you have a lucid dream or not depends on your subconscious. the various methods that are used to train lucid dreaming actually train your conscience of it - nothing to do with being too intelligent, though it migh tbe hard for a mentally handicapped person (or maybe not).
You know you've been hanging around a forum too long when people start quoting you and agreeing :P

Yeah, I kind of figured that. Well anyway, I'm usually fully conscious in most of my dreams. Too bad I can't say the same thing for when I'm actually awake :D

i recently bought this cool book that tells you everything about dreams. it's pretty neat. i was looking at this website once, and it showed this machine, that a Japanese person made, that made you dream what you wanted. it was pretty weird, but cool. haha.B)

i've had so many weird dreams before lol. once i went to japan, met johnny depp, or had some dreams that i woke up crying from- and they're mainly about school! (dang i'm weird):o

every time i have realized i was dreaming, I tried to fly. It works sometimes. I like thosed dreams when I am falling off a cliff and i wake up falling off my bed.

I read once that over 50% of people dream in black and white, I've never done it, how about you guys?

I remember dreaming in black and white once, but the strange part was that it wasn't entirely black and white, some elements (cars, people) had color.

Last night i was looking down on a riot scene, and for some wierd reason thought "it'd be cool to be a riot officer, so i could have one of those plastic shields" ....

Yeah I have wierd dreams.

Lucid dreaming is so cool! I'd love 2 have dreams where I can acctually control them. I tried 2 lucid dream yesturday, but I was really tired and I didn't focus on it. I'm going 2 try it 2day. *I hope I'll lucid dream 2night*

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence that you ever tried.
