What's your favorite manga?

I only have 3 mangas: Mobile Fighter G Gundam (Vol. 1), Gundam Wing Endless Waltz, and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. I'd probably put Gundam Wing in 3rd place. As for the other two...well, I'll just say they're tied for first. They're too radically different from each other for me to make an honest comparison. In all honesty, though, I really don't care as much for the mangas as I do for the animes:

In G Gundam's case...well, I've loved the anime from the first time I saw it, but superb music scores are one of the big factors as to why I still remember it so well. Being a manga, there is none of that music, so it's much more forgettable. Plus, trying to cram the entire storyline of the anime into three measly volumes means that the creator(s) end up compressing some of the good parts of the story severely or even omitting them altogether.

As for Bo-bobo (overall "funkiness" aside), the fact that the book that I have (and the only one yet available in English, to the best of my knowledge) starts in the middle of the story is really irksome to me, especially when I don't have the preceding volumes. Also, the blood spurting from every single attack is a gross exaggeration; it's amazing Bo-bobo and Co. have any blood at all at this point of the story (which is fairly late in the storyline).

Er, well, Ranma 1/2 tops my list, right now. DNAngel, Naruto (i've read so many scanlations online, i think I lost five feet of eyesight D: ), and Rurouni Kenshin. Lone Wolf and Cub is pretty good, as well.

I'm reading Naruto, FMA, Beserk and some other mangas at the moment...Can't really say which one's my favorite, 'cose I'm relatively new to all this. But I hang out a looot over at mangahelpers, that's how I heard about this place!!!

you don't owe me. and i'll NEVER tell you how much that NGE book was in Japanese! hahah! you have no idea what's the value of 510 yen or whatever it was! BWUA AH HAHAH! oh yeah. i saw at the back of Kare Kano volume 20, there's going to be ANOTHER one! you're so screwed if you're going to collect all of these really LONG series! lol!

I'd have to definately say either Faerie's Landing or Ragnarok. However, both of those are Korean...hmm..


As far as Japanese manga goes, Angel Sanctuary would be my favorite.
