Kanji Handwriting Thread
Kanji Handwriting Thread
I was reading a thread that someone created in order to have their Japanese handwriting evaluated. A suggestion was made to create a generic thread for this purpose, so everyone could post their handwriting. It seems that this was never done, so i thought i would create it.
Of course, creating this thread suggests that i should be posting my own handwriting along with it, but i'll save that for later...:p

RE: Kanji Handwriting Thread
hey I read that thread a while ago and I thought someone would do something by now. Once I can get my writing on here I'll put it up.
Finally!
RE: Kanji Handwriting Thread
Yeah, I'll post my handwriting!
...as soon as I learn how to read it.

RE: Kanji Handwriting Thread
ok, i'll go first then!
It may be illegible though...
It is supposed to say:
konbanwa,
watashi wa burianka desu.
watashi ga ongaku kitte inagara,
nihongo o benkyou shitte imasu.
matsu takako no sakura no ame ga suki.
(English)
Good evening,
I'm brianka. I am studying japanese
while listening to music. I like matsu takako's
sakura no ame (Cherry Blossom's rain).

I can read it! Given the fact that you apparently wrote using a mouse, it's surprisingly legible.
Non-handwriting-related issues:
I suggest putting Japanese quotation marks around the song title.
I also recommend not using watashi ga in the second sentence, since that's like saying "I am studying Japanese and listening to music...". You can just drop the watashi there, I think, since we already know you're talking about yourself.

This is a test I took back in Japanese I. I already had it scanned in my computer, so I figured I'd just use that.

Pretty good! Definately legilble. I'd work on your か and が a bit though - the horitzonal part of the stroke should be extending all the way through and out the left hand side

I didn't expect such feedback within a single night! This is awesome!
You guys are great at the ol' handwriting.
I have some of the paper that the Japanese use to practise Kanji, so i'm going to use it to write all the Kanji that i know. I would have posted it already, but i recently changed my printer and this doesn't have scanning abilities.
It'll come soon, i promise! :p

I want to post mine, but I don't have scanner and when I took photos with my digicam it don't work so well. Well, anyway, I'll try to solve my problems and post it. >< I've been thinking that I would really want to have my calligraphy examined by "pros". ;P
