Where to get manga in Japanese?
Konnichiwa!!! I was wondering if anyone could assist me. I've been trying to find like Fruits Basket and Othello in their original Japanese text but I haven't found any copies T_T I checked on ebay and nothing came up. Does anybody else have this problem and if so, how did you solve it?

RE: Where to get manga in Japanese?
I generally DO get my items on Ebay.
I found this listing for Fruits Basket. Unfortunately, it ends in about 4 hrs from the time I post this message.
Although, it appears it's not going to sell, so the seller will probably re-list. I'd buy it if I had the money for more manga right now.
Anyway... I'll keep looking around, but I've always found e-bay my best source for otherwise hard-to-get imports.
EDIT:
Sasuga Books also has them, for a bit more than the e-bay seller is letting them go for. Here is a link to Sasuga's website.

http://www.sasugabooks.com/ is a pretty good store too. They even sell (really expensive >_< ) weekly publication subscriptions (like Shounen Sunday or Shounen Jump, etc).

Free online manga:
http://www.ne.jp/asahi/kani/teikoku/manga.htm
http://www.taikaisyu.com/
http://www.geocities.jp/rorokakaka/saku ... nsyuu.html
I'm sure there's much more if you search around. These are naturally not on par with professional manga but they are alright for interesting learning resources. Unfortunately the kanji level is pretty high and there are no furigana though. So maybe not so good as a learning resource...

look at any japanese store. i saw FB up to volume 20 in a store. and there'll be like 2 more, or something. or just look online. if you go to a Mitsuwa store, there are only like 9 in America, there's a HUGE manga selection. i went yesterday and got some awesome books! if you live in Southern California or in Northern Illinios, there's a Mitsuwa somewhere... i've seen one in Cali on vaca last year. hahah.
