RE: 界
That must be a mistake (I'll write it down to fix in the morning)
But a look at my kanjigen shows sakai is a name reading.
EDIT: BTW, if you are in VA, you're up early (or late). My dogs felt they needed to join the neighborhood 犬の会議. that's why I'm up!

RE: 界
heh, I work the audit shift. I still have 2 more hours of work left
I don't normally look up name reading of kanji unless I'm specifically looking up a name. They just make kanji more confusing than they already are. When I was looking in wwwjdic and clicked on the link to the hanzi/kanji database, it timed out, or I might have seen the name reading.

Yeah, years ago when I typed that, I probably saw the name reading and just stuck it in as a kun reading.
You can pat yourself on the back. I stealthily hid the sakai there to see how long it would take for an observant visitor to call me on it.

RE: 界
Looking at Kanji Rakuen, the reading does exist but it is "outside the list" meaning that even Japanese are not supposed to know it. To avoid confusion, it would probably make sense to remove it.
Reading 李香蘭 私の半生
Please note that:
1. English is not my first language.
2. I am not Japanese. I am prone to making mistakes so please point them out if you see any.
