What is the colloquial word for Flight Attendant?

The word is probably just Flight Attendant (furaito atendanto). The word in kanji would be hikoukiiin - 飛行機員, (aeroplane attendant) but that's just my guess.

However, I was hoping for a more thoughtful answer though. Has anyone been on, perhaps an international flight to JPN and listened to an announcement made by a flight attendant? What is the word they use to describe themselves?

Ok here, what I'm trying to get at.

How common is the word 搭乗員 (toujouin) used nowadays to refer to a flight attendant?

スチュワーデス、フライトアテンダント、客室乗務員 (kyakushitsu-joumuin).
i think 搭乗員 can include pilots.
スッチー is short for スチュワーデス but this is not polite.
