What's wrong with this?

Anyone ever had a problem with the taste of food packaging?

I just finished eating an Oreo ice creme stick. When I got to the stick, I am left with the aftertaste of wood.

I know what you mean. I don't really like Oreos, but when I eat cheap popsicles, I hate the taste of wood. But usually the not-as-cheap stuff is pretty good

I love ice-cream, and with good ones you can lick the stick clean and the wood doesn't give any flavor. But maybe that wood is too expensive for the cheaper ones.

I've (sadly) become acustomed to the flavor of cheap food and it's packaging...if some one in my house would just leave the grocery shopping to the experts...

the icecream will at the point of contact take on the flavor of wood.. i suggest not sucking on the ice creme stick

I know what you mean about popsicles, but the worst is bottled water that taste like plastic. I'd much rather drink tap water that tastes like copper...

If you really have to eat stuff with a bad aftertast you can just brush your teeth right after.

I think icecream is more apt to absorb nearby flavours or odours. I've noticed when eating icecream that comes in a box, the icecream on the side of the box tastes funny.

Try leaving icecream uncovered in the freezer. See if it tastes like freezer after

i have a better idea, just put the fish in the icecream and save yourself some trouble
