RE: Yen Exchange Chart
I usually use http://www.xe.com/ucc/ when I need an exchange rate. It lists almost every currency in the world, with the most popular (EUR USD GBP CAD AUD JPY INR NZD CHF and ZAR) at the top for easy access.

You can also get a not-so-up-to-the-minute number by Googling "$1.00 in Yen".

RE: Yen Exchange Chart
The nearest bank will have "real" prices. ("Real" meaning the amount of money you will actually be able to buy and sell for, which will be lower than market value since the bank needs to make money) Any bank will have a big LED sign with current dollar versus yen rates posted. If you are exchanging a significant amount (3 or 4,000 USD, let's say), try asking for a better rate. Usually they will boost the exchange up a couple of yen to the dollar.
