Well, your る in よるしく looks good, but it should be a ろ, as in よろしく.
The end of the loop of よ should extend beyond the vertical.
It looks like you're using a seperate stroke to make the loop of す. The loop is part of the same stroke as the vertical.
The second (vertical) stroke of が should cross the horizontal part of the first stroke.

h3lladvocate, you might like to check these hiragana lessons out:
http://japanese.about.com/blhiragana.htm
That's where I learned hiragana. It shows the correct stroke order and makes you pay attention to the shape of each stroke, with the appropriate hooks and all.
I don't know if this is already in the "hey, that's a useful site" thread, I'll go and see.

Yeah I was the guy that create the first thread. I recommend using a lead (automatic) pencil. So much easy when doing complex kanji. I still have trouble those things though.

actually, I've found the new gel signos .33 work best. You may have to look high and low for them though.
Of course in Japan we'd be talking about the .18s or smaller, but .33 is the smallest gel I've found. There are also some .20 uni-ball ink pens but since they are ink not gel, they bleed into the paper and when the ink difuses it defeats the purpose of getting a really fine point.

I have a [sexy] Faber-Castell brush-tip pen... I should try writing with that =D
Sometimes I think that I'm afraid of thinking, and that scares me.

Hi Sonia,
I'd work on your "そ" - if it hadn't been in context there as part of your name, I wouldn't have recognized it. Other than that your characters look good!

Look at this one, Sonia, it shows そ among others:
http://japanese.about.com/library/blhiraganalesson3.htm
Maybe it redirects you to the home page; in that case try again and then it'll work.
It should be noted that when you write your name in kana, you have to use Katakana. Only Japanese words and names are written in Hiragana. So, your name would be ャjア.
