Hanzi smatter

Postby Infidel » Mon 09.04.2006 8:43 am

Well, Hanzi smatter finally tracked down where a lot of the totally bogus tattoos were originating from. These posters http://www.naturalexpressions.org/Tattoo_Flash_CKE2.html

on sale for the low low price of only $65 plus shipping.

Btw, the real horror is at the very bottom.

Kanji Tattoo Alphabet.

In the words of the great 80s philosopher, "I pity the fool..."

Ahahahaha! Oh, wow! The alphabet!

>_<
Sometimes I think that I'm afraid of thinking, and that scares me.

It's not only bad because it is substituting kanji for the alphabet. Look at the horrible calligraphy. It's really, really, bad.

True. I think it was done poorly so it could be trademarked. There's a line of bathroom/bedroom stuff where they ripped off the character, "夢" but left out a stroke in the bottom radical so they could trademark it. It's all about $$$.

I'd like to make a comparison. We talk of how stoopid bad kanji tattoos can be. Well, consider this poor Japanese sod who went out to get a cool tattoo:

Now hold what you're thinking, and direct that thought back toward yourself should you think about getting a stoopid kanji tat.

hahaha, now that is really bad. But a tattoo is the same thing as wearing a T-shirt with kanji that you don't even know what it says. For example, I read (at gaijinsmash) that Japanese people love T-shirts with english text on it like "Please enjoy my cock".

Right-o :D

(I know a tattoo is ten times horrible than a bad t-shirt but the basics are the same)
Good luck with studying everybody and I hope one day I will be able to pick it back up.

Until then, a nice goodbye from me to you ;)

After the first 50 or so 12 year old Japanese girls you see with those you realize that you're not so much laughing anymore as praying that your own daughter won't be so, umm..., "silly" is the best I can come up with without alerting the censors.

Tony

What does it say about me that I read that English, and at first noticed nothing wrong with it?

I've been here too long...
