Sauna addict wrote::):D School rumble. It's also my new all-time favourite. A lot better than, for example, love hina IMO (though I liked love hina too).
Episode 23 to be accurate (loved that ending).
Ooooo, I think Love Hina and School Rumble are on a par.
I do think that for the character Tenma-chan they stole her look from Mahoro (Mahoromatic)
If my memory serves me that's the ending of the manga he writes yeah? Yup, a very good episode, hehe. I've only seen until the end of Volume 2 though.

Just finished watching The Twelve Kingdoms. It's excellent. I can't wait till the novels come out here in the U.S. Or I learn enough Japanese to be able to read them. Whichever happens first
Next on the list is Gankutsuou. It is so incredibly gorgeous!

RE: last anime you have watched
As far as last anime watched AND last manga read, it's the same answer: ボボボーボ ボーボボ! Calling it weird is a major understatement; if you took all the weirdness and stupidity out of it, the story would probably be over in 10-12 episodes, tops. Like with all weird stuff, one really has to have a different mindset to learn to like it. (
...I think I just zinged myself. :@) ボボボーボ ボーボボ is probably the first anime I've actually cared for since Mobile Fighter G Gundam, but it's so nonsensical and, well, "out there" that I simply can't make an honest comparison of the two.
I also had a mild, fairly short-lived interest in Samurai Champloo, but after seeing limbs chopped off seven or eight different times (all the gore included)and hearing three or four curses in one 20-second segment once, I was immediately turned off. I've never bothered to try to see it since.

My friend came over last night and showed me some 'Black Cat,' which I didn't really like but I watched anyways, because I made her watch my Miyavi DVD and she liked it
But I'm not really an anime person anymore...

Reviving the old threads...
I just finished watching Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. It's overrated, but I liked it.

Ouran High School Host Club I guess. Seemed kind of pointless but I enjoyed it because it was pretty funny.

I watched Otaku no video last week too. freaky, but damn fun!
Just watched an OAV of Slayes (The Golem City - pretty nice) and now I'm watching Ergo Proxy (it's not bad... i like scifi-punk settings... it's a little slow maybe).

I'm not really an anime person but I really liked 「灰羽連盟」 (Haibane Renmei or Charcoal Feather Foundation).
I was a bit emotional at the time over a murdered friend and it touched me. Still can't watch it without getting all metaphysical though...
