Sick, but not sure what is wrong with me. Any help?

Well, I took your advice and went to the school nurse today. I think she was just plain dumb. All she did was call to get me a ride home, which I never implied that I wanted. I asked her what she thought was wrong with me, and got a very monotone "Iunno". Then she gave me a pass to leave. I did, seeing as I had already been to 4 of my 7 classes today.

When I got home, I talked my grandparents into calling the doctor. The doctor said "Oh, theres a stomach flu going around. I'll just send him an antibiotic for that". My grandma agreed to that, and I was royally pissed. I told her that nothing was wrong with my stomach at all, and she needs to call them back and actually take me down there. I got a "Just see if this works first". Wonderful, my grandparents are just as stubborn. I can't afford for a week-long, let's just see type of thing. I'm not going to let my grades suffer that bad because of this. Geeze...

Well is it possible you can call the same doctor yourself and explain the symptoms over the phone? You'll probably get the same response "see if this works", but I would hope they give you a different type of medication for what it sounds like you have instead of guessing.

I have never heard of a doctor prescribing an antibiotic over the phone without visiting the doctor first...

My doctor has always been odd. What confuses me more that my grandmother accepted it. Sounds dangerous to me.

There was an E. coli breakout here in the US. Maybe you've got that... but I think it's hard to go two weeks with E. coli.

Call Child Protective Services, report him for child neglect, and have yourself placed in foster care.
