Dragon Ball / Z is the best anime ever!!!! It is an absolute masterpiece!!!! As for my favorite manga I would have to say Samurai Deeper Kyo and Shaman King.B):D

For the time being Meitantei Conan and Inuyasha are what I'm reading.

Hagane Renkinjutushi is my personal favorite, with Clamp's new Tubasa: Resevoir Chronicles taking number two. Beserk is a nice number 3.

InuYasha is an anime and manga done by Rumiko Takahashi and is set in feudal Japan but with lots of fantasy elements. It is a good anime and is pretty long. The main character is a half dog-demon and half human and has a giant magic sword called the tetsusiaga and a normal girl named Kagome falls into a well one day near her house and it is a portal into his world. They are trying to find all of the thousands of pieces of the Shikkan jewel. Hope this clears things up.
