Godzilla, anyone? ^_^;

Not strictly anime or manga, but does anyone like it?
I know it's totally dumb with lame effects and chessy monsters...but thats what appeals to me!
It actually kindled my desire to learn Japanese, rather than anime or manga.

Well, It all started when a wide-eyed 11year boy old saw a trailer reel of Gojira films in their original Japanese format....

I watched Godzilla vs King Kong the other month, and it ruled.

Godzilla is very funny to watch, I love the lame affects and how they dubbed it.

Yeah, Godzilla is the bomb. Its stinks how not too many people like him though. Because the last movie that came out, FINAL WARS, is supposed to be the end for him. SAD.
I also like GAMERA the giant turtle. Does anyone like him. In 2006 there making another one. Im excited.

I havent seen Final Wars yet, isn't it a remake of "Destroy All Monsters"?
The latest one I've seen is "Godzilla 2000".
I would love to watch Gojira in the original Japanese, but every damn Godzilla DVD I know of doesn't have that option!:@

i recently watche godzilla last wars, a good movie, but i prefer gojira vs mecha gojira...that big monsters that fight,with special effect more truly year after year, when i was child i loved it, and it contributed to my japanese 360° passion!!!!

OMG, OMG, that's how i got into Japan and anime and manga. i was really bored one day with my old ex-best friend and we watched a Godzilla Movie out of boredom. it was hilarious. and we made fun of it since it was CHEEZY. and also, i was 11 or 10 too..... but not a boy.

I Only Saw Godzilla 2000, I Didn't Like it but, there was nothing wrong with the effects...or at least that i remember.
