Original Manga
I am a noob at the Japanese language, but I love to watch anime and read manga. Now I am under the impression (I could be wrong) but the un-subbed versions of anime are better than subbed, and the actual translations of what they say are not always what is said in the subbed versions. Now I was wondering if the same is true for manga and if so where can I get the Japanese version of the manga. Two titles I am looking for in particular are: Hyper Police and Chobits. (I have read them and since I know the general plots I think that they would be good practice material, when I can read Japanese) I would also be interested in any manga or anime that has never gotten a U.S. release or never will, and again where I can get them. Thanx a bunch to those who answer this thread.

RE: Original Manga
Sasuga Books carries both, as well as other Japanese books. That's where I bought the manga I'm reading.

RE: Original Manga
the quality of the translation is based on the subber. Some subbers try to keep it as close to the original japanese as possible (and because of that they have lots of notes in their subs). Others(*cough* Dattebayo *cough*) try to americanize the translation so Westerners can understand....

Right, that's (at least) the third pointless post in a row. Please stop.
