Kanji?

Postby ebear215 » Wed 06.22.2005 11:00 pm

I got onto this japanese site with stories in japanese. Most of it is in hiragana but there is some of it that is in kanji. I know that there are thousands of kanji symbols. But I really want to translate the story and I havent found a single website that tells me what even one of the kanji symbols are. So I know that a lot of you are learning janji so where did you get some symbols you leat\rned. Also if any of you know any sites that have simple little stories that I can translate that would be good too.

It's called a dictionary. There are many online。
The most famous one is Jim Breen

There is a link to a program called JLookUp from Jim Breen's site. That's the one I use. It has its own comprehensive dictionary, and can use other dictionary files (like Jim Breen's own EDICT). I haven't yet had the need to use any other than the one it came with.

You can cut 'n paste the kanji and kanji compounds into its search field.
