くしゃみ (sneeze)
I daresay everybody knows the "if you sneeze somebody's talking about you" superstition but did you know ...
一誉め、二謗り、三笑い
One for praise, two for censure, three for laugh
Actually there's another version as well...
一誉め、二謗り、三風邪
One for praise, two for censure, three for a cold

RE: くしゃみ (sneeze)
I had a friend who couldn't stop sneezing for several minutes after she sneezed once.
---
If I understood it right, it means that if you sneeze once, someone is praising you, if you sneeze twice, someone is censoring you (talking bad about you behind your back?) and if you sneeze thrice, then you have a cold or...laughing illness?

tanuki, you are correct, I believe Keatonatron was gaving a go at me.. Either that or he totally misunderstood what Paul_b was saying.

I knew you were expecting someone to say "Wow, you're sure praised a lot!" so I had to try and turn it around on ya :p

Actually I wasn't going for any sort of expectation. I merely typed up what has been my experience.. but I do appreciate the humorous spin you put on it..
I was laughing so hard I actually fell outa my chair..
