Carolineさん。こんにちは。
Ok, so let's talk about こと in the chatroom. Before chat, please read these threads.
Harisenbon-san's post
keatonatoron-san's post
all posts.
Sentence Quiz ←this one might be difficult, but very good example to understand how to use こと.
ことができる(article)

and informative website.
http://www.guidetojapanese.org/genericnoun.html#part2
now you will almost understand how to use こと.
Txkun might kindly prepare some quizes.
If we still have time, how about listening practice from this website?

Thanks a lot, tanukisan, for saving the log for us and to everyone too helping everyone with JLPT4

RE: JLPT4 chat study group
I don't know about the daylight saving time because we don't do that here. Hm...anyone know how can we coordinate that?
----
Kohana: Yes, you can come, it's an open chatroom. I suggest you see what we've already gone through here (you can read the logs there).
----
By the way, I was thinking we could maybe do some reviewing quizzes (JLPT-like questions) this week. Do you people agree?
With the help of chico-san, we're preparing some questions (if you can prepare more it'd be awesome).

RE: JLPT4 chat study group
for daylight saving time :
there is the choice between keeping the same GMT time as before (and those with daylight saving time adjust) , or move it one hour (which moves the hour for those without daylight saving time).
As I don't care, Europe being confortably in the beginning of afternoon, I suggest txkun decides what's best, especially for him, as he does a lot of work, and for our japanese helping friends, for whom it's quite late, and then post it!
Whatever you'll decide will be fine. Just let know.

I've been wanting to join this group for a while now though I find the thing about the timezones so confusing. I live in Sweden (GMT+1). When can I meet you guys?

thanks caroline san, well i was thinking that I can just join one hour earlier. So I would think it's best to leave for everyone the usual meeting at GMT 12:00 (assuming you already took plans to do so).
Anyway since SSsan was saying it was maybe a bit late I would like to know if she, coco or others would prefer another meeting hour.
erik, I checked with this
http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc
I think you can join at 1pm
See you

I am certainly running out of time to study for my JLPT, must catch up ne ..
I think it's absolutely ok to stick to GMT 12:00 since it's my off-day the following day.
See you all !

RE: JLPT4 chat study group
Really enjoyed the lesson last night! Thanks to Chico-san and Coco-san for their time and effort to go through the revision with us.
Time is running fast ! JLPT is around the corner. See that we only have 4 more lessons to go with, I'd like to share some materials here. Hopefully it helps to boost up our memories for some words.
Try this without looking up dictionary.
Answer: 2, 8, 5, 1, 3, 6, 7, 4
A practice a day, helps to keep our nervousness away ^^
I think you'll be very happy if you can do it without referring to the dictionary, I've tried.
加油!!

Thank you Txkun-san for pointing out the typo みせて not めせて , apologize !
