What Instrument do you play?

I dug out some old pictures of the pipe organ I put in my parents basement way back in 1981. I think I had too much time on my hands back then.

I've also found a cassette tape that has some recordings of what it sounded like. I'll see if I can create some mp3's. I'll tell you ahead of time that I played pretty badly :p

I play clarinet and saxophone and I'll be starting bassoon on Thursday. I had to play the recorder for 7 years (wow that's a hard word to type)... hateful instrument... but at least it gave me a solid grounding for the sax.

I played bassoon from grade five to grade eleven. I'm currently thinking about learning how to play an erhu.

I play piano and guitar, and self-taught recorder (therefore not very good!). I'm also a fairly good singer (I'd like to think so...).
But the piano is my main instrument, I've been learning that for about ten years, but my lessons have been really disrupted... so I'm not very good.!

I've been playing with a drumset for about 2 years now. They're a lot of fun, although pretty difficult. Mainly I play rock, although I've tried latin and jazz beats a bit.

I also have a guitar but considering I've only been able to get into the habit of playing a couple times for a week or two, I would not say I "play" it

Been taking lessons for like.. 7-8 weeks now. I've nailed down the easy beats and I'm now playing songs, its great.

Piano, but who can't play that? Punched into your brain during school..

and self-taught guitar.. x___x I just sit and pluck strings all day, with some hope a tune will be made..

Kuroi, if you are into composing, take a look at this website.

If you can apply modal thinking and scales into your discovery of a new tune, you will find it much easier to find something that sounds good.

I'm pretty sure I've answered what instrument I play before.. Was there another thread like this? or maybe it was about who playing in a band.

Anyways..

I play bass, and I've done it for about 4 years. Great fun, still much to learn. I do also master the guitar a bit, and I've played drums for about 2 years.

Bass - Not all self-taught, some by myself and some with my teacher.
Guitar - Self-taught, learned some from friends.
Drums - All self taught.
