Be my thesaurus.
No, seriously, this thread is to collect alternative words and phrases for things you don't find in real thesauruses (thesauri ?).
First phrase "Bugged me", not as in 'hidden recording device' or 'insect' the 気になった type of "bugged me".

"Bug" in the sense of "annoy" could be said:
むっとする
しゃくにさわる
But come to think of it, these would both probably be in a thesaurus, so maybe I don't quite understand what it is you're asking for.

Hmm, it looks like I use "bugged me" with a rather wider usage than you do.

Thesaurus.com gives ten pages of results, about a third of which appear to be what you're looking for.
