Passive Present Progressive

How would I say 'to be being created'? For example in English, 'Your file is being created'. I think 'もうけて いられる' or 'moukete irareru' seems logical but I'm not entirely sure.

"create file(s)" is translated into "書類を作る/書類を作成する".
※書類=しょるい 作る=つくる 作成する=さくせいする
"Your file is being created." will be translated into "あなたの書類は現在作成中です。"
※現在=げんざい 作成中=さくせいちゅう
"あなたの書類は作られている最中です。" is acceptable, but it sounds a bit weird, I think.
※最中=さいちゅう

Away from "書類を作る", the Passive Present Progressive form of もうける is もうけられている.
もうける→もうけられる→もうけられている
When Japanese hear もうけていられる, they will think it means 儲けていられる, or "can be still profitting".
もうける→もうけている→もうけていられる

Actually, if you're talking about a computer file, it would just be ファイル. File Folders are also referred to as ファイル. 書類 is more along the lines of "document."

Also, I believe that videogame files are referred to as 'レポート'.

What? Nope. レポート means report. Like the kind you write at school. Maybe depending on the game, they made a cute name for it, but save game files in video games are generally called ファイル.

Are you playing a game that saves information in some sort of report, or that has a report like feature? It is probably a phrase being used to evoke the feeling of the game. For example, some games use the phrase 日記 (diary) to refer to the save file to make it seem like the character is writing a diary of their adventure.

Ahh, pokemon is a very kids oriented game, and they may not be used to words such as file (they are now, probably, but like you said, 10 years ago), so they use a more common katakana word such as Report. This also fits in with the whole going on a quest and reporting back about it, etc.

Or at least, that's how I see it.
