I don't think he's on these days... it's gone a bit downhill, just loads of talkshow stuff in the morning (Adam Carolla or however you spell his name and Opie & Anthony). But the It Hurts When I Pee show is still going strong and awesome.
We've got a new station, 107.9, that's independently owned, so they've got quite a bit more music and less talk...

Okay, in all my life I have never heard anyone say ya dig or cool cat in NY. NY is usually where the newest slang comes up so I have no idea where you got that idea from. In fact, if ur not up on the newest slang, u probably won't even be able to understand what the kids are sayin. Oh yeah and when they say 'word', they don't usually end it with 'up' (word up), but instead with 'son' (word, son). That's usually what separates the new skool from the old skool

If you could go to Greenwich Village, NYC circa 1960, I assure you you would hear alot of "cat"'s and "dig"'s.
