really? when i was there, people sounded happy when we told them we were from hawaii...they were like cool..i wanna visit there some day. and they told us the shopping areas when we told them where we were headed towards...the people i met seemed to enjoy our visit there...and i met a lot of people thanks to my friends' tendency to talk to strangers on the subways =P

I went to Honolulu, Hawaii this past summer. it was cool. What I thought was amazing though was how there seemed to be more japanese tourists than American ones...or it could just be that they stuck out to me. There was even a large group of girls my age...I only got passing glances....from them and all the every girl that I met....maybe I should lose some weight...
