Dana desu
Peace been upon you << this is the greeting in our country
watashi wa Dana desu
I'm Dana from Qatar
know where is that ? B)
It is a very small peninsula in the Arabian Gulf >> Middle East
I'm 21 years old , and I like everything related to Japan. In fact, I respect the Japanese nation.
I would like to learn Japanese for many reasons. One of them is to have the challenge of learning a new difficult language. I always hear the Japanese is difficult to learn , but I hope I can achieve in learning it.
My mother language is Arabic, but I'm learning Japanese with English. I feel it's interesting to learn a new language with a foreign language ^_^
I started with learning Hiragana, but didn't complete it yet and reading some
grammar lessons. I hope I can achieve more within this nice forum.
Regards,

RE: Dana desu
Hajimemashite, Dana-san
Peace be upon you!
Youkoso (welcome).
I hope this website is useful for you. I have learned a lot here, especially kanji. Learning two languages at once once sounds like a challenge. Gambatte!
I don't know any Arabic, but I have a friend from Lebanon. Is Arabic in Qatar very different from Arabic in Lebanon?

Thanks natemb
The most thing I like here is the ad in the right of the page , (Kanji Benkyou)
It is very useful
About the Arabic language there is an important thing to know
The (formal) Arabic language is the same everywhere
but recently , people use different accents depends on the area
That means the accent in the Gulf is different from Egypt and also different in Lebanon ans so
you can say it is (informal) Arabic language. But of course it is understandable for other Arabs
If you want lessons in Arabic, just ask me and I'll help B)

Thank you Yuki Ronin
I wonder if you have a good site that offers some pronunciation of Japanese words
I tried to spell (Hajimemashite ), but it's so long
I wish I can hear it somewhere in order to pronounce it correctly
