Not sure what my ABSOLUTE favorite anime is..BUT..Some favs are Gungrave, Outlaw Star, G Gundam, Rahxephon, FLCL, Hellsing, Naruto..and several others I don't feel like listeng =P. And pretty much anything by Hayao Miyazaki

I agree on Bleach, the fillers were great! But now they're following the manga again I think it's gonna be even better!!

But there are a lot other good anime so it's hard to choose one, just to name a few I like..

Death Note, One Piece, Eyeshield 21, Freedom, Welcome to the NHK!, Mushi-shi, FLCL, Naruto and Air Gear..

I tend to like anime that has a deeper philosophical meaning which many people tend miss and almost always requires a second viewing to pick up smaller details. Such are (which I enjoyed obviously): Haibane Renmei, Wolf's Rain, Evangelion, Trigun(to a certain extent), and Full Metal Alchemist (lots of Buddhism thrown in).

Also I like anime with historical content with lots of samurai: Shura No Toki (if you have not watched this show then do it. You won't be disappointed.) , Rurouni Kenshin (also samurai x), and samurai deeper kyo was ok.

My favorite is Rurouni Kenshin, it's quite old but so far I haven't seen anything better

Others maybe Naruto (but the fillers starts to kill me), Hunter x Hunter, Gundam series, and some sport animes like Whistle and Hikaru no Go

well i knew Fruit Basket from manga that i borrowed from my friends, and loved To-ru's voice since anime started! actually, i prefer manga coz i imported the fisrt edition from japan through oohjapan.com and it came along with the figures!! im not sure if it was really a first edition but figures are limited-freebie so i must be lucky! recentky, i found out it is much cheaper to buy it at auctions. here is auction tips for your reference:
