ように (exp) (1) in order to (e.g., meet goal); so that; take care (so as); (2) hoping or wishing for something; (P)
こと and よう both have a number of uses -- can you be any more specific about this? If you want an extended explanation of all the uses of both of these, a grammar book is going to be better than someone's post.
