Clamp X (X/1999)

Once upon a time....

I had gotten an X/1999 comic out of one of those "50 random comics for $5" deals. I really enjoyed it, but never managed to find any more.

Fast forward....
(post e-bay!)

I get into learning the japanese language, and decide that getting a manga or two would help. First thing I did was get some Clamp's X from e-bay. I have the first four issues now, and I can read.. oh... the first two pages or so. :p

The exciting conclusion....

Does anyone else have this manga series, and is currently a beginner with japanese? I'm basically looking for someone to study with, sort of.

If you like clamp, try their new series Tsubasa "REsiovoir Chronicles". It's really simple, especially when compared with clamp's other stuff. Takahashi Rumiko's stuff is also not too difficult. I'd recommend Ranma or urusei yatura, as Inuyasha has a lot of older words that you probably wouldn't know yet.

Is the story longer in the mangas, because I have watched all the episode and it seemed finished.

yes, me too .. usually, i would read/download manga if they have extra [story] to offer ... so if the manga is longer than the anime, i'll check it out ...

and x is ... depressingly enjoyable ...
