Business cards for young people?
Hi,
I was wondering if young people (between 12 and 18 years old) have business cards. Because I've only found "the rules of business cards" on site which had a "japanese for businessmen" theme (duh), I thought it would look strange to have them; August 23rd I'm going to Japan, and it might be usefull (that way the "how do you write your name"-part can be skipped).
thank you in advance!
Tim

My experience is that most of them don't have any, but i bring a bunch of them along everytime i visit, nobody looked weird when i gave them a personal "business" card.
Last time i brought 50 and came back with 20, haha.
I wonder where they all are right now

I found that generally students started getting business cards when they were at uni. After college they're pretty much ubiquitous so anyone with a job had their meishi ready to hand out.
