JLPT Results
Has anyone got their JLPT results yet?
I thought people who sat it in Japan are supposed to get them in early Feb and then overseas in mid- late Feb.
I have never sat the test before, can anyone who has sat it before let me know when I can expect results based on previous years exams (in Australia in particular)
Thanks

Don't know about Australia (it's probably earlier there) but I didn't get mine until around Mar 7th.

The results were sent out yesterday in Japan
( http://www.jees.or.jp/jlpt/ )
Hopefully I'll get mine before I leave to go home to America.
Urgh.. Don't want to see my results...

RE: JLPT Results
Thanks for that.
I checked out the link and it said
合否結果通知は、郵便事情により配達が遅れる場合があります。2月20日(火)を過ぎても届かない場合はJLPT(03-5454-5215)に電話でお問い合わせください。
But I assume that only applies to Japan addresses, not necesarily O/S. But I have found that postage from Japan is quite fast to here... I was recently sent something for my birthday and it arrived at my house from country Chiba-ken 3 days after the post mark which gives me hope that it may come in the next few weeks
... I think I want to see the results, but may change my mind after I see them
Best of luck to you all ( not that you can change your results but...)

I sat for level 4 last year.... still waiting for the results in singapore.. maybe the JLPT office should start an online checking system... That should save them alot on postage.

It does save postages and time. HOwever, I prefer to have both. Meaning to say those who are eager to know their asap, then they can check thru the net. Conversely, if the net is not secure enough, hackers might tends to break in.

I'm sorry to hear that, Harisenbon.
I don't expect my results to come anytime soon, so I'll just wait patiently.

You'll get 'em next year, Harisenbon! 必ず! I'm not expecting my results until March, and I'm getting more anxious with each passing day. I know 聴解 ate me out alive.

Hi 最悪悪魔,
For the record, Harisenbon did pass 1級 (kicked its ass, I might add). Four of us took 1級 together, and only three of us passed (I barely passed).
I know who didn't pass...can I get a prize for guessing right? B)
Nice siggy, Harisenbon! Cheesy new twist to Descartes!
*edit*
P.S: This is my fist post ever...宜しく!

RE: JLPT Results
Congrats to all of you who found out your results and passed!
It sounds like I might be waiting a while though since everyone from overseas seems to think it'll take a while to get the results! Oh... well can't do much about it I guess... It feels like I'm on a game show and the host is trying to drag the show out so tells me that they'll let me know if I got the right answer to the question "right after the break" argh that's always so frustrating when they do that! :@

RE: JLPT Results
Here in France, the results arrived today.
I guess it depends on the diligence of the exam center.
I hope everyone on the JLPT4 (yes, there is such a thing) chatroom passed, and thank again everyone - a special thought to coco-san - for the good time we spent together.

RE: JLPT Results
I was able to successfully keep the thought of the JLPT out of my mind for 2 months but now I'm really anxious for my results. I think I passed, but the listening was a b*tch so that probably really brought down my score.
Two muffins were baking in an oven. One turns to the other and says "sure is hot in here." The other replies "AH TALKING MUFFIN!"
二つのマフィンがオーブンで焼かれていた。片方のマフィンがもう一方のマフィンに向かって、"暑いね”と言った。すると、話しかけられたほうのマフィンは"アッ!喋るマフィンだ!”と驚いた。 :)
