I like Sasuke because he doesn't yell. But, I hate Orochimaru and Naruto, thay need to die. I can say that because they're not real peole
. Shikamaru and Kiba are the best, though.

I sometimes wonder if it's appropirate to use the word "like" as in like a person, for anime characters. You can like, the roles, and the characters given emotions..(Not really the characters thought but what the character was told to think - feel by the writers) I mean, laying I like sasuske to me is like saying I like "Dark Tower: The Movie" When there is no such thing.. I opt to say, I like sasuske's character. Instead of just sasuske.. Did i just make an ass out of myself? :p

Well, Sasuke IS a character, so saying "Sasuke's character" is kind of redundant, I think. Imagine if it were an actor/actress, you could say: "I liked Jennifer Aniston's character, Rachel, in Friends", but you wouldn't say "I liked Rachel's character."
The difference is that you can like Jennifer Aniston as a person, but with animated characters that's impossible, they're just characters.

By the way, I do think that you can like characters. And you can also hate them, or be indifferent. In fact, I think it's natural and one is expected to have these feelings, otherwise literature wouldn't be really interesting (I'm thinking about characters in books, but the same applies to films, soap operas, anime...).
However, the boundaries between reality and fiction must be clear; you must be aware that these are merely fictional characters and that you'll never going to be able to "have" them in any way you'd like.
Of course the possibility of "having" certain real, flesh-and-bones people is also minimal, to the point of being a practically fictional desire.

I dont know what up with your recent "I hate Anime" but, to don't like Anime
and insulting others for liking Anime, is well, dumb and ignorant.
Ah, and childish.

My sister says the same thing (or about the same thing), but I think you shouldn't put peole in a catigory like that (even though I dislike the other kids who watch anime at my school.)

I haven't really started watching Naruto since I just borrowed the boxed set yesterday, and I didn't feel like working my schedule around watching Naruto on Cartoon Network. It's a great show, I can't wait until I get into the later episodes.
