Unfortunately I don't have as much time to learn Japanese as I would like, and therefore I am rather inactive on this forum. Yet I have learnt so much just by reading the "Recent Posts" page every once in a while. I respect those who have taken the time to write up explanations to help others, especially those who have written in a language which is not their native language.

This is a public forum, not a MySpace profile.
I know it's the off-topic section, but we do have general guidelines that things can't be totally pointless or of no value to anyone else.
Please try to make more meaningful threads. I really don't think anyone wants to read a gigantic list of inside jokes and random things followed by a plethora of exclamation points.

You mean, "More Pink", "Dew Grass" and "Cute Guys" did nothing for you Keat?

Hating this book called The Giver in class I'm reading.
Aw man, I feel like I've been slapped in the face. How could someone not like The Giver? Or at least respect it, even if you find it depressing.
Also, for some reason the "cute guys" talk has reminded me of the scene in Zoolander where the male models get into a friendly gasoline fight and incinerate themselves accidentally. Comedy gold!

Hey, I missed this. And I must disagree with you, Hatori. The Giver is one of my favorites; I found many parts of the story very moving and thought provoking. I think it is better than Orwell's 1984.

.... 1984 - I liked...
...The Giver - I did not like...the things that were supposed to be thought provoking just bored me...maybe cuz I was too young...I also hated the ending.

Ahhh!!! It's an evil book! My teacher is giving us too much homework for me to actually enjoy it.
Question One: Why does Jonas.... ect.
The community is totally whacky with the sameness and all of these stupid rules and regulations... I just don't like it.

The power of Christ compels Myspace or Facebook. I hate them. lol.
Uhmm... Less than 15% of my list is inside jokes, actually.
Sorry, if it's not so "meaningful". I just like to hear what people would say about something that's to their liking.

I'm not sure what "Dew Grass" is, but it sounds interesting.
On a beautiful spring or early summer morning, as I walk out onto my front lawn running to the bus, I realize that my shoes and socks are wet. lol. Enough said about dew grass.

PS: I thought of creating this topic because I had to do HOMEWORK for The Giver and it was asking something about what you like and don't like... So, I just thought of doing this. XD
