JLPT3 (2007) chat study group
Hi to all!!
Probably it's a bit early but I think it would be nice to start thinking about the chance of organizing a new chat study group for the december 2007 test
I think the study we did together for 2006 was a great help to everyone and that everyone continued studying.
So what about a Jlpt3 study group?
How many would be interested?
With the help of the Wiki, the chat logs from the start it will be even better than before!
So... douzo! B)

I'm interested. It might still be too early, though.
I hope many people are interested.
I would love to help in the organizing as well.

I'd be interested. Although I already took 3級, there's nothing wrong with honing the material I already know making sure that I completely understand the material, so count me in!

I think I would be interested in this, but I have only been practicing Japanese for about 6 months now, so perhaps 3 kyuu studying is still above my level. Is there any place I could get a general idea of how comfortable I should be with Japanese to be ready for the 3 kyuu test?

This may help you:

Here you can find many logs of the past meetings of the study group and so you can have an idea of what was needed to know to pass level 4.
A good resource you could try to look too is this page: http://www.jlptstudy.com/

I'd be interested in taking part, although the fact that I am Australian and my imposing work schedule may disagree.

So.... would we use the usual Saturday night/Sunday morning date that we had previously with the JLPT4?

I'd like to join in. I just scraped by JLPT4, so I'd like to get an early start studying this year. Maybe we can do it a little later in the day? The JLPT4 chat group was too early for me.
Cheers!

RE: JLPT3 chat study group
Okay, so far we have 学生 as follow:
Name List moved to last page.
TIME is a main problem.
Previous JLPT4 study group was scheduled on every Sunday GMT1200. It was rather early for members in Westbound. Would you like to swop schedule? Any suggestion?
If the group gets large enough, we may probably need to split into 2 groups.
Coco-san suggests that the study group might be better to start in the summer.
To keep the study group moving, this is what I plan:
1 A thread solely on exercises/assignment
Questions provide a great way to get things going and lead to further discussion. If you have spare time, please feel free to share your exercises/assignment that have been taught and review (from your school or sensei), BUT do bear in mind of Copyright Issues. Don’t copy from illegal sites.
2 A thread on discussion after chat meetup.
If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to post.
------------
Edit:
Coco-san needs members that can explain in English.
Your generous offer to help out would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
To share with us your study materials, pls post to Related Curricula
