RE: JLPT3 chat study group
Hey, i guess i will join up with this group too. My time zone is GMT-5.( will be GMT-4 on the 11th because of daylight savings time. looking at the people in the US it doesnt look like they thought of the time change being this sunday. i don't know when the time change for the other counties is but im taking it is the same day)

I am GMT-5 (Eastern Time US)... which I guess is GMT-4 with daylight savings time coming up. Man, why does time have to be so crazy :-p06) HeyItsMatt - (Location ??)
I checked out some of the JLPT 4 chatlogs though and I was just barely comprehending... hopefully though I can step it up a bit and increase my knowledge before these chat meetings start, especially if JLPT 3 is not until the end of this year.

RE: JLPT3 chat study group
Very good points SSsan,
I agree, if hour is a problem we could try to find a better time. Anyway there are so many timezones it's going to be difficult to find a time that fits all.
Having seen that cocosan and others really helped us a lot I think splitting group will not be too good. Members of the other group couldn't meet them and enjoy their help and valuable presence.
Anyway I think it would be nice to put a list of the things we will cover before studying and meeting. I'm searching these days on some resources and I'll try to write something to discuss on.

I'm really sorry to correct you again, but La Paz is the Seat of Government (although not the capital) of Bolivia, and it's not the city I live in. My city is called Santa Cruz, so it should read (Santa Cruz, Bolivia). Sorry.SS wrote:

Delekii - GMT +10 (Melbourne, Australia)
I am close to Japanese time (1 hour difference at the moment I believe, 2 outside daylight savings? I might have that back to front).
If it's weekend based, I can work around whatever time just fine.

wow there really is no Bolivia, USA... I checked and I couldn't find it. I definitely thought there was one ... unless you count that mini-world in Disney World or Land...
oh and just so you know: I typed "definitely" three times then spell checked it four times before I got it right. I kept getting redefined and definitively.

SS, in this way you are going to ruin the fur. Maybe a tanuki's fur is worth something! (poor Tanuki

Anyway timezones now are spanning from -8 to +10 GMT.
It's really a lot of time and how we put someone in the world will have to get up early
