Ghost in the Shell: Innocence

Toward the end when Batou infiltrates the boat thing, the blue guard entities are speaking what sounds to me like chinese. This has english subtitles on the DVD, I'm pretty sure, but was it subtitled for japanese audiences?

Yea I noticed that from the boat security "droids" are speaking something that really doesn't sound Japanese. I mistook it for jibberish the first time I watched it, but now that I went over it again I can see it being some east-asian language.
