Members list
Perhaps the members list should only list those who have visited the site recently or regularly. Many of the members on it haven't been back since the day they signed up!

Yeah I definetly agree. Has anyone else noticed how many people sign up every day, and how many of them bother to post or even drop comments?

Yes, they are members and can't just be deleted.
Some boards have the members listed using the post count, rather than alphabeticly. So the most active members are on the top of the list.

Just because those members don't post or 'shout', doesn't mean they aren't making good use of this site, ne?

I'm not referring to how often people post - if you look on a member's profile it gives the date they joined and the date they last visited the site, regardless of whether they posted or not.
Also, I'm not suggesting that accounts are deleted just because someone hasn't visited for a while - after all they may come back - but maybe we should be able to view a condensed list of members.

Why can't we have a list like that? It'd be fair to us who post here frequently or at least every now and then.

RE: Members list
I think that organizing the list by post count is a good idea, but it would be better to organize the list by putting the members who have most recently visited at the top, and the ones that have been absent the longest at the bottom, if this is at all possible.

It couldn't hurt to list them by post.

Not bad idea, but i don't think it is possible.
Listing by posts, would probably be the best idea.

i joined this site over three months ago but i :phavn't posted anything in about the last two, this doesn't mean that im not:@ using the site, it just means that i dont really have any need to post (i.e. for help, advice or to talk).
so..... just because im not posting or even logging on as reguarly as some of you, it doesn't mean that i don't find the site an invaluable resource for learning japanese.:@:DB):p:o:(:|;)
