Small JLPT4 Study Group

Post by Xerani » Sun 04.15.2007 2:26 pm

Hello, everyone. My name is Janna and I'm an 18-year-old living in the United States.

I'm currently looking to set up a small group of people to study for the JLPT4. We will probably pick a night of the week to study together on MSN or another such messenger, set goals for the week, quiz each other, etc. I am looking for people who are studying using the Genki I book currently or who would be willing to pick up that book for this group.

If you're interested please send me an email at xerani(at)gmail.com and I'll give you more information. =)

If you choose to meet in our chatrooms, you can set up your own room and have it logged (so you can easily refer back to them at future meetings.) You can also use the wagawiki to arrange meeting times.

Be aware that we have people from all over the world coming here, so be aware of time zone differences.

I know that there was a JLPT level 4 study group last year. They met once a week in the chat room and studied together.

The logs of the sessions have been saved can be found here. You may find them of interest. Good luck.

1. English is not my first language.
2. I am not Japanese. I am prone to making mistakes so please point them out if you see any.

Thank you both for the replies. =) I didn't get much response to the idea so maybe I'll try to set it up more generally.. just anyone who wants to study for the JLPT4, no book required. I'm not sure how to go about doing that, though. I'll definately read through the logs of last year's sessions.

I'd like to join in, but I haven't got Genki - I currently use the JLTP level 4 study guide. I'd see what I can do about Genki, though. :)

This group doesn't seem to be working, so go here http://www.thejapanesepage.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8146, it's the same sort of group, just (maybe) active.
