Hello everyone!
I'm fairly new to Nihongo, but slowly learning. I got interested after watching too much anime at university
It's all good!
About me: 23-year old genetics graduate from Wales in the UK - look forward to learning much and making friends here,

Goals:
1) Have decent proficiency in Japanese, enough to get around/talk/read/write.
2) Visit Japan for a week or so one summer.

Konnichiwa, nice to have you here. I live in the UK too ^^ doesn't the lack of Anime and Japanese around here suck?

There's plenty if you know where to look. Here in Newcastle most DVD shops have anime sections, and we've got a few specialist anime/manga shops. I'm sure there's some in London (and Wales, come to think of it).
