Around here that could mean a lot of people. I notice people come & go -- understandable as when someone loses interest in studying Japanese they'd drift off. In going through the old threads I've come across people I really wish my time had intersected with. Who knows, maybe one day someone searching the old threads may think that about "lalaith".

Are you the kitten or the person holding the gun in your new avatar?

There are actually 23 people (or, at least, accounts) banned by my count. Jahn2 was banned until recently (and can considered to be on probation), but some of the banned people never posted - they got banned for misuse of the shoutbox (before there was a minimum post count requirement for shoutbox use) or other bad behavior. Other than through the admin panel, I don't think you can tell if someone is banned or not.

Most of the 23 banned were spammers who created an account and then let their bots loose.

The hint is the new location.

Have you ever heard the saying, Every time you tell a lie, somewhere a little kitten dies? Have you ever wondered who it was that went around ruthlessly slaughtering little kittens? Have you ever wondered why cats and dogs always seem to disappear mysteriously near Chinese restaurants?

No.
Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings -- Yes.
Lies = Juvenile feline homicide -- No.

The people at animal control?

That's just sick. :o (And don't ask me why I laughed so hard. I plead the Fifth.)

Yours and HeyItsMatt, both your new avatars have....what shall I call it....um.....interesting background stories.

I was just thinking about that picture too as soon as Infidel made that kitty comment :D
Two muffins were baking in an oven. One turns to the other and says "sure is hot in here." The other replies "AH TALKING MUFFIN!"

二つのマフィンがオーブンで焼かれていた。片方のマフィンがもう一方のマフィンに向かって、"暑いね”と言った。すると、話しかけられたほうのマフィンは"アッ!喋るマフィンだ!”と驚いた。 :)

I'm gonna have to plead the Fifth again.

I never knew kittens had to pay for my sins. I'd heard of scapegoats before, but never scapekittens.
