sei, don't worry about it. Projects are important to get done, so it's ok that you weren't paying full attention to the lesson last night. Hopefully you'll be able to be a bit freer project wise next weekend. :)

hugoblu, yes,we just covered the rest of the exercises given on sei's scanned pages. Our homework's to memorise the kanji (both readings), I'm pretty sure. Hope to see you at the next meeting!

Yes, indeed they are.

No, I do not think it is too late and I am not taking the JLPT 4 kyuu test either.

If you go by EST then that should be four hours behind GMT. So that would be 4:30 p.m.

When is the registration for the test ending and where does one sign up? I'm not sure if I'll take it this year but there is a small chance I might. Mostly, I just want to be in a group that is around the same level as I am and be motivated to continue learning.

It looks like for the USA the registration dates are

August 1 at 10:00 AM PDT - October 5 at 5:00 PM PDT

More info about signing up is here:

That's good, I've been waiting for another study group to join (I was in SS-san's last one) and 4pm should work. One problem, my pandion won't work...it won't load up all i get is a white screen. Any help?

Since when did this problem start?

And can you show a picture of it?

SaverS - did you click the link to the chat at the side of the page here, or have you downloaded the program? I got a white screen just by clicking the link. Running pandion as a program on your PC should work.

What are we doing next lesson, by the way? More kanji seem like a good idea, to build some vocabulary. What pages will we use, etc?

Oh, sorry, it works now. I think it started after my dad fixed my computer.

Are there any old logs from past meetings that I could look at? I couldn't find any on the website.

you could take the images that sei uploaded and learn the kanjis. our "homework" till saturday is to know them by heart...we have already gone through them but you'll be alright, i think we will go through some grammar next lesson so you haven't missed that much.

One more day until we meet up again! Are we going through the listed grammar points for the JLPT one by one?

I've got some work from the JLPT study guide that I could scan up. It's on basic particles (ga, ha, wo, etc.) They're not great to work from though, as they really only have example sentences. No good exercises.
