Okay, homework for this week is: the 25 vocab we did and an extra 25 (50 vocab), 5 kanji with meaning and 2 ways they could be combine (ex. 今日), and 1 sentence each using the particles を and に。

Here is the sentence related to a discussion of と in the JLPT 4 kyuu chat.

無人島に行くしたら、あなたのベスト・サバイバルグッズは何ですか?

無人島=むじんとう。
行く=いく。
何=なん。

したら is the conditional of する.

Ehh, sorry about missing this last two meetings everyone. I remember having missed one because i just couldn't be focused on it, and so as to not disturb i didn't go. But to why i didn't go to the other one... I simple don't know. It's a blur to me. I am thinking that with the family dinner that i had in my house i simply forgot about the meeting, but i'm not so sure about this.

Anyway, to the reason of this post.

Me and Valatunda-san were talking this afternoon about the topic of our next meeting. He was nice to put me up to date to what has been talked in the meetings.

So according to what i read here and what Valatunda-san said i think it's about time for some revision work.

I was thinking that this next meeting we could go over the vocabulary, kanji and particles already studied, and then we'd do some sentences with everything learned (or cover the most we can).

Maybe we could even play a little game and try to build up a text. Though maybe that's a little too advanced to try and do for now. But can always be an idea for later meetings. =P

Does everyone agree with the next meeting's topic? -> Revisions? (Or 'reviews'...i never know what the right word is... ^^')

May I join in the next meeting? I might take JLPT4, but even if I don't, I'd like to improve my Japanese.

Yes you can. Do you know what time the meetings start? And what time that would be for you?

Of course you can. I think we only started the meetings two weeks ago, so it is still early.

I have no idea where Drkshadow went, but he might return. Maybe your e-mail will prompt him to.

I think we are making some progress during our chats so far but we should definately continuing studying on our own so we can go through more material in the time that we have.

So far, I have been checking japanese blogs based on interests with lots of pictures and it's fun trying to make sense of the text along with the pictures provided. Yesterday I managed to catch 14 minutes of Fujisankei on my television. I don't think I have ever been excited to watch the news before Fujisankei. It's hard to not laugh and just repeat mindlessly everything they say!

If it is possible, could everyone involved with the group tell me their time zone please?

It is so a list can be kept. You can write your time zone in this thread or PM me with it if you so wish.

From what I've gathered from reading this thread, meetings are weekends at 1:30 PM my time (California).
