Favorite game?

Post by babala6547 » Mon 01.10.2011 9:58 am

I've been playing this game for a bit, and every server I've been on seems to have nothing but fans of first-person shooter games on it. So I ask any who will listen: What is YOUR favorite video game or genre thereof? My best friend bets that almost every answer here will still be FPS (or the games will be of that genre), but I want to see for myself.

Also, for the sake of my curiosity, including where your age is by groups of ten (an 8 year-old would be in the 1-10 group, a 12 year-old in the 11-20 group, etc) would be great, but not necessary.

Thanks! I really hope I'm not losing $20 on this...

FPS is a great genre buut ever since COD MW was released in 2007, the genre has been getting generic - sure, MP must be great but whatever happened to a good quality and satisfyingly long SP?
Just when I thought MW2 would change the way we play FPS it in-turn took this drastic turn with those 4-5 hour campaigns of meaningless button mashing :-|
Pretty soon I decided to move on to other genre - RPG, specifically JRPGs.
Not that I've lost my love for FPS, I found my self most addicted to FPS + RPG hybrids than just raw RPGs - so, my favorite Genre would be FPS+RPG hybrids.
Fallout 3 to name a few.
I'd say FPS if things were back to the way it was

I love the soundtracks to games. RPGS tend to have a focus on the music.

Diablo 3, an action RPG has been my poison of choice these days. :P
