is okay by me (although I did find "Grave of the Fireflies" to be too depressing), but otherwise the word "anime" makes me think of "Speed Racer" - stilted, fakey animation. I will admit, however, that I prefer "Speed Racer" or even "Astro Boy" to the more contemporary stuff.

Okay, so I'm hopelessly outdated - what else is new ;) ?

I tend to like the anime that doesn't have the big eyes as much. :P

I started watching J-dramas and got hooked on those and barely watch anime anymore. The only anime I still watch on a regular basis is Naruto. Recently I've watched Real Drive and RideBack, but they were both short series.
