Anyone seen this version of chess before?

It's actually pretty challenging since you have to watch all sides and there are a lot more angles to deal with. Even though it's challenging it's fun though. My oldest brother found this years ago but not too many people have heard of it around here.

As shogi pieces appear to my current knowledge all be shaped the same I would go with chess.

shogi v. chess
im a master at chess! never played shogi before but i would like to try it

un, it's chess for me too
...except with a twist, we play on a Tridimensional chess board like the one you see on Star Trek. Because, chess wasn't...er...thought-provoking enough already!

Shogi vs Chess
I had to say that I prefer Chess, only because I have never played Shogi. I don't really like Chess. Too boring!!

hahaha... I'm basically in the same boat. :P I've just never played Shogi, so I had to say Chess. :P
I don't think Chess is necessarily boring for me, but it's too stressful.. my brain goes into overdrive analyzing all the moves etc and I get burned out. It's not really an enjoyable game for me. :( Shogi is probably the same way, so I doubt I'd like it any better.
